Toyota LandCruiser & Prado Throttle Controller: 70, 100, 200, 300 and Prado
LandCruisers are often bought to tow heavy and travel far. On the electronic-pedal models, a soft pedal map can make them feel reluctant. A Roar 4X4 throttle controller changes how the pedal responds without touching the engine tune. Use the table below to match your Cruiser or Prado to the right product page and plug.

Why it suits a Cruiser
A 200 or 300 Series with a van behind it is a lot of weight to get moving. With the factory pedal map, you can press quite a way before much happens. A sharper mode brings the engine's response in earlier, so merging and hill starts feel more controlled. On rocky climbs or wet clay, a softer mode spreads the pedal out for finer control.
The controller doesn't add power or torque and doesn't change the ECU tune. The engine is still exactly what Toyota built. Off mode or unplugging returns factory pedal feel.
Gulf, NZ and South-East Asia
The Land Cruiser is a staple in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, but GCC-spec vehicles are left-hand drive, and their pedal parts and engines can differ from Australian models. Treat the plugs above as Australian-delivered fitment. Before ordering for a Gulf vehicle, email a clear photo of your pedal plug to admin@roar4x4.com. We ship tracked to New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and the UAE, and international shipping is calculated at checkout. NZ-new Cruisers and Prados are usually close to Australian spec, though Japanese imports can vary. The same applies across South-East Asia.

FAQ
Which plug does my 100 Series use?
It depends on the engine and pedal. Our three 100 Series pages list three different plugs, so open each one and compare your pedal connector with the photos.
Does the 300 Series use the same plug as the 200?
Our LC200 and LC300 product pages both list plug 830. Still, check the photo against your pedal.
Is the Prado covered?
Yes. The J120, the J150 bands and the Prado 250 each have their own page, linked in the table above.
I have a 2023 or newer 70 Series. Is there a page?
Not yet. Our only live 70 Series page covers 2007 to September 2009. Email us a plug photo and we'll let you know.
Will it affect my warranty or roadworthiness?
It doesn't modify the ECU and it unplugs. Warranty and road rules vary by manufacturer and country, so check with your dealer or local authority if you're unsure.
